"Joys of the Spirit" is anything that sings or whispers to your heart, soul or Spirit ... anything that reminds you to take a deep breath and just Be ... and makes you feel good just for the very fact that you have experienced it.
It is also a circle of family and friends, artists, craftpersons, a few teachers, writers and muscians, all believing strongly in the lost values of collaboration, cooperation and community, along with the urgent need for renewing our connections to Spirit, (our own Higher Power), all of Nature and to Mother Earth, herself.
"Joys of the Spirit" are the Sacred Spaces and Studios all nestled in the fields and forests around the small towns of Alachua and High Springs in North Central Florida. It is meeting at Alice's Parkside Restaurent in High Springs every Tuesday morning for breakfast.
And it is the art of being comfortable with the Unknown. Not having to know what is coming next or what the outcome will be. Of believing that what you need will be provided in one way or another. Of just letting things evolve and unfold on their own. Come to think of it, this site will probably be a lot like that.
